President Prabowo Subianto met with Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (01/13) to discuss the Ministry’s strategic programs, particularly those related to digital transformation and the implementation of e-government in public service sectors.
In her statement after the meeting, Meutya said that President Prabowo Subianto expressed concern on the digitalization of public services as one of the Government’s efforts to improve transparency and efficiency.
“The President is very concerned about digitalization. He wants public services to be carried out transparently through digitalization,” the Minister said.
She went on to say that her team presented numerous programs that the Ministry is currently carrying out, one of which is support to accelerate digital transformation in government institutions.
“We talk about programs in the Ministry related to digital transformation and e-government,” she added.
The meeting showed President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to supporting digitalization as one of the key pillars in bureaucratic reforms and modernization of public services in Indonesia. (BPMI/ABD) (EST/LW)
