President Prabowo Subianto Monday (03/12) personally inspected the implementation of the Government’s signature Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program at SDN Jati 05 Pagi, an elementary school in Pulogadung, East Jakarta.
Upon arrival, the Head of State was welcomed by elementary schools’ students and members of the surrounding community.
During his visit, the President also toured several classrooms, observing the nutritious meal options provided to the students. He also took time to engage students, discussing their meals and gathering feedback.
The President also met with teachers to ensure that the program was being effectively implemented and operating smoothly.
Following his inspection at SDN Jati 05 Pagi, the President continued the visit to Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri (TKN) Pulogadung 02, a kindergarten in East Jakarta. There, he evaluated implementation of the program at the early childhood education (PAUD) level.
He also visited the MBG kitchen, where he held a dialogue with the chefs responsible for preparing daily nutritious meals for the children.
The President’s inspection underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring that the program was running optimally across all Indonesian schools.
