President Prabowo Subianto had a dinner with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo at his residence in Jakarta (12/06).
In his statement to the media, President Prabowo Subianto explained that the meeting was a return invitation to Joko Widodo following the President’s visit to Joko Widodo’s residence last November in Solo, Central Java province.
“I heard that Mr. Joko Widodo was in Jakarta; thus, I invited him to have dinner. Previously, he invited me to his house in Solo; now it is my turn to invite him to my house,” President Prabowo Subianto said.
The President underlined that there was no special purpose for the meeting.
Sharing the same sentiment, Joko Widodo also stated that the dinner was merely a friendly meeting with President Prabowo Subianto.
