Thousands of people flocked to Jakarta Presidential Palace on Monday (03/31) to attend President Prabowo Subianto’s Eid al-Fitr open house event.
Gathered in a spirit of togetherness, the people visited the palace and received Eid al-Fitr gifts and souvenirs. More than 5,000 gift and souvenir packages were distributed. The gift packages contained food and beverage items such as instant noodles, teabags, milk, and sugar, while the souvenir packages included umbrellas, towels, water bottles, and holiday cookies.
Since the morning, people had been arriving with great enthusiasm. They chatted, shared stories, and enjoyed the rare opportunity to be within the Presidential Palace grounds.
After touring the palace and greeting one another, the visitors looked delighted as they received food packages. The long lines remained orderly, while staff worked together to ensure a smooth distribution process.
Smiles and gratitude shone on the visitors’ faces, especially as they carried the gifts home. This tradition not only served as a moment of sharing but also strengthened the bond between the Government and the people in an atmosphere of purity and togetherness.
